The Colonel Young Gun Club was founded in October 2020 to embrace the historical legacy of African American gun ownership and honor the history of Fort Des Moines. Our club is a welcoming space for all who are interested in responsible firearm ownership, self-defense, and community engagement.
We are proud to be a chapter of the National African American Gun Association (NAAGA), a national organization dedicated to introducing, educating, and advocating for African Americans in firearm ownership, training, and self-defense.
